BIBLIOGRAPHY

Michele Curatolo received his M.D. at the University of Messina, Italy and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Aalborg, Denmark, where he holds an honorary doctorate. He has been the Chief of the Division of Pain Therapy at the University of Bern, Switzerland and is currently Professor at the University of Washington, Seattle. His research focuses on measuring nociceptive processes to understand mechanisms of human pain and predict outcomes.
