BIBLIOGRAPHY

Laureato in Medicina e Chirurgia nel 1991, specializzato in Oncologia Medica nel 1995, ha poco dopo indirizzato il proprio impegno lavorativo nell’ambito delle Cure Palliative, disciplina innovativa ed agli albori nel nostro Paese

Nel 1995 è iniziata la collaborazione con la Fondazione FARO di Torino, Centro di Cure Palliative, di cui è diventato direttore sanitario nel 1998.

Nel contempo ha completato la propria formazione nell’ambito delle Cure Palliative frequentando Corso Intensivo Regionale di Cure Palliative organizzato dal Centro Studi PALLIO della Regione Piemonte e l’Hospice & Palliative Care Study Seminar in Britain al King’s College di Londra.

Dal 1998 ha iniziato un’intensa attività di formazione, in corsi accreditati e presso vari Istituti Universitari italiani (Master in Cure Palliative, Scuole di Specializzazione).
